@graftonian,
a. KSK8 probably not going to answer your questions about the pick for Tuesday, as KSK8 made it pretty clear KSK8 makes the trading decisions the night before the Open the next day and posts them prior to the Open and seems to be consistent in following that process so far.
Also, this latest shorting thread, like all of KSK8 prior ones, seems to have day(s) where no trade is acted upon.
Or maybe KSK8 will answer....
b. So far KSK8 has posted 6 trades, the first 3 were held to the close on the day he initiated the trade at the Open.
The next 3 trades were taken at the Opens but one was held over past the close until there was a reasonable profit, and the other two were closed intraday due to already attained significant profits.
My guess is that these trades are being monitored in some fashion during the day instead of being left alone to close at day's end.
c. There have been 12 trading days since that thread started and 6 trades have been completed; so it appears not to have suitable candidates every trading day.
d. Remember KSK8 stated the thread was for our entertainment and as usual KSK8 does not fail in providing provocative entertainment.

You have a talent for observation.
1. You are correct, all my calls are made prior to market open.
2. Usually, I will let it sit till the close but if the price isn't doing what I expect it to do, I'll take profits early.
3. If I had a candidate every day, mark my words, I'd have quadrupled the portfolio by now!

Ed, SQ was a pretty good pick today the 74.5 put opened at 1.92, and reached 3.50 by 11am.

FYI...SQ is in pullback mode, great stock to hold for long term along with JD.

@graftonian,
a. That SQ Put was a nice trade for a mere 82.3% for a single option trade.
b. If we consider your post as part of an option trade "call-out" thread, then KSK8 will have to step up his shorting game.
c. Now if some of the triple leveraged ETF SF traders will repost some of their results; there could be a 3 way competition: Options vs. KSK8 1 day Shorts vs Triple Leveraged ETFs
Thanks,
Ed S.

Nibor,
There is no 3-way competition until I see consistency!
There is also no need for me to step up my game until I notice REAL competition. As of now, that 82% trade is one investment that is not likely to occur daily. Consistency is the hallmark of trading! One trade means ZIPPO!
Produce a similar % gain for your next 3 trades and I will concede.

@ksk8,
Oh, I don't want you to surrender!
I just want to see a healthy continuously improving maximum gains contest as I feel good option traders can also provide healthy consistent gains, with much lower trading costs, and more chances for +50% gains on single trades.
I suspect Graftonian won't be posting his option trades regularly as I believe he is fairly new to the option game, but I bet there are others on SF who trade options frequently that might post their results.
Some of my posts are also for entertainment purposes only....
