@PT
Exits I'm still working on, I need to stay in the profitable trades longer. I do like to take half off after I get the move I want. And it depends on the trade really. If it is a pullback on a up trend then I'll let it go a little longer until I start to see the CCI over bought, think wind at your back. If it is a reversion trade or in a down trend, I'll put a long on and usually take profits when it gets to back to the lower BB40 ala JP uses. I'll only take a reversion trade if price is trading far from the low BB. If it is too close you won't get much of a run.
I'm watching /PA right now. Up trend, CCI below -100, BB40 going up. If we get a swing their might be room to the upside. If I was smart enough on how to post a pic I would.
I'm also watching /NG thought I would like to see it pull back on the CCI more. I'm good at getting in on turning points but not mid trend pull backs. I need to work on that to which is what /NG feels like.

gmg, it sounds like your exits are fine. I just asked because last nights trade with valeant (VRX) is a great example of my frustration at times. I got in at 13.53 last night and exited in pre market at 13.80. well it went down this morning to 13.30. I got out because of something Kevin from GA said once...'take profits when you have them'. I dont do well with consolidation. that is why i asked.

you traded that very well. It was a counter trade and that's how you trade them, now you move on and don't look back in your rearview mirror.

Exactly, I could be crying over /CL higher today buy I made good bank on the trade I did. But I learn not to look back. Look for the next trade. I'll make more money on a new trade than I would holding that trade. That is usually my experience at least.

great find Four. can i ask what the logic in the code was ? not asking for a filter per se but this one seems to have consistent support and resistance levels, hitting multiple times in short time frames. good trading stock.

215,
No filter.
It showed up when I ran "a filter" and noticed when I was scanning results.
